I got mad at Clark during Season 9 but I've always loved his friendship with Chloe and you're portraying it here very nicely. I like that you've set it ahead a bit, with Clark as Superman and wearing his geeky disguise.
Yeah, I had a long debate regarding Clark when I sat down to write the very first chapter. I contemplated getting rid of him altogether. Because you're right, he tends to be a jerk to Chloe on the show in the past several seasons. Even in 6 he was starting to take her for granted to a much more serious extent. And in high school I always thought he led her on. -sigh- Eventually I decided to eliminate all un-fun-Clark and just make him be the Christopher Reeves awesome-Clark. lol
Anyway, you've reminded me that I owe you a comment on Letting Go b/c I may have read 5 without reviewing earlier.... I'll just...run along then... ;)
