Dreamwidth Dress Rehearsal

So...–taps walls– I think it seems sturdy. If you're reading this, you are likely a person who has followed me over from LiveJournal, where I officially got too frustrated to deal with anything anymore.
I wouldn't go so far as to call my self tech-savvy by any means, but I will say that I know how to use most technology, and given good instructions, I'm a fast learner. That being said, LiveJournal has far too many bugs in its system that I have no control over, and Dreamwidth seems to have (possibly in thanks to a smaller clientele, I'm sure) less of these kinks. It's a very smooth operating system so far, and similar in structure to LiveJournal, so I think I'll pick up on things quickly.
However, quite naturally, I miss my LiveJournal layout. Granted, I got extremely lucky in that I found a free layout that suited me so well, but I believe my luck has run out over here. I am not a programmer by any means and am therefore duly intimidated by learning how to build my own layout.
I cannot pay for one to be made, so I don't know how much that limits me, but I would love it if anyone were willing to take a commission for the fun of it! Let me know.
In the meantime, I'm going to work on getting a few links posted as well as, if we're lucky, the new Smallville/Supernatural crossover I've been working on.
To those of you on LJ 's Chlollie Community, I am going to do my best to continue posting to the comm (once I finally start a new Chlollie story, that is), so don't worry about missing out.
Love & Computer Bugs,

Is anyone a layout maker or do you recommend a maker?
